In the summer the training band will not continue on Mondays. Dates will be notified, but in principle TB members will be invited to join the main band for rehearsals – details to follow.

After events, we’re looking to place newspaper stories. This means we need photos asap. If you do get photos printed straight away, let Ian know, and we’ll try and run with it….

Sunday. Plemstall Church, Mickle Trafford. A genuinely dressed well, which they’ve been working on for weeks. We’ll assemble outside the church at around 11.30, play a few tunes and toasts whilst things assemble, and then march down to the well. 3 hymns and it’s all over. We’ll play out, and then possibly finish by playing Teddy Bears Picnic, as they’re going to have one (if our ‘band’ is up to it).

The training bands first solo ‘gig’. Saturday, be there for 1pm, for 1.30pm start. We’ll be doing 2 sessions. Support from main band, families, friends is of course most welcome. Some pages of the site are a little 'dodgy' at the moment. This is because the members area is still been redeveloped. As many of the pages on the main site are interlinked to this, some of them have suffered a little. But, it's well on the way now and should be launched in about 2 weeks time brining lots of new features both to the members area, and the main site. Once the new members area is up and running for the main band, work will begin on the training band members area... Wanted... The scout hut redecoration is in full flight, and the Training Band display is now very colorful, and was updated in time for the election polling station duty! Come along on any Monday at 6.30pm and have a look – and a listen to the training band.
