Junior Band

At City of Chester we are committed to passing on the fantastic opportunities brass playing gives to the next generation , we provide heavily subsidised music tuition and loan instrument, free of charge.

Junior Band was set up in 2017 and is now thriving with its first members now taking part in Main Band jobs and rehearsals.

It is for children aged 7 to 11 who are taught to play brass instruments , which are loaned free of charge , and to play in an ensemble.

We meet at 6 pm on Monday nights ,during term time, at St Luke's Church in Huntington. For further information and contact details please see the contacts page.

I am the Coordinator of the Training Band and Junior Band, the first port of call for all new members wanting to either join the TB or JB.  I have been with the band since 2000, when my daughter joined the TB, taking over the role of Coordinator in 2003 and have been involved ever since.
