Well Dressing
Friday 8th Jun 2001, the wee hours
Sunday. Plemstall Church, Mickle Trafford. A genuinely dressed well, which they’ve been working on for weeks. We’ll assemble outside the church at around 11.30, play a few tunes and toasts whilst things assemble, and then march down to the well. 3 hymns and it’s all over. We’ll play out, and then possibly finish by playing Teddy Bears Picnic, as they’re going to have one (if our ‘band’ is up to it).
